There have been many reports recently of both gas and electricity cost shooting up, and when this happens many warehouse managers despair as it means their energy bills will increase as well. One of the first things that you will probably notice about any warehouse is that it is a large and open space. However, the fact that they are so open may not be a positive thing all of the time, for example of you have a project to work on that is going to create a lot of dust and you don't want this dust and dirt to spread.

In the warm summer months, production spaces and warehouses enjoy having their doors open wide so that fresh air can circulate throughout the space, keeping everyone fresh and comfortable. However, at this time of year, with snow forecast, the same industrial units are doing their best to keep these same doors tightly shut, to trap the heat in and keep the cold firmly out!
