Identify the area where you plan to install the PVC strip curtains. This can be a doorway, opening, or any space where you want to create a barrier using the curtains.
Measure the width of the installation area from one side to the other. If you're measuring a doorway and you wish to install the curtains on the underside of the opening, measure the width between the doorframe or any fixed structures. If you are fixing the curtain across the face of the frame, where possible it is a good idea for the curtain to overlap 50-100mm on each side. Ensure that you measure the width at the desired installation height.
Measure the height from the floor or the bottom of the opening to the desired top position where the PVC strip curtains will be installed. Make sure to measure at multiple points along the height to account for any variations.
Decide on the width of the PVC strips you require for your specific needs. Common strip widths are 200mm, 300mm, or 400mm. Consider factors such as the size of the opening, the traffic flow, and the level of insulation or visibility you desire when selecting the strip width.
Choose the desired amount of overlap between the PVC strips for your application. The standard options are maximum overlap, medium overlap, or standard overlap. Full overlap provides maximum insulation and protection, while lower overlap options offer increased visibility and accessibility.
