Stackable Grit Bins – 200 or 350 Litre

These stackable grit bins come in 200 and 350 litre sizes for car parks, site roads, loading areas and larger commercial premises. A 200 litre grit bin holds enough salt for regular treatment of a medium-sized site, while the 350 litre bin suits larger areas or sites that need to restock less often.

Both bins are made from tough medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), with a hinged lid that keeps salt and grit dry. The lid can be secured with a padlock (not included), and the bins can be moved with slings or a forklift truck. When empty, they stack for compact storage out of season.

How much salt does a 200 litre grit bin hold?

We supply the 200 litre bin with 8 x 25kg bags of salt as a grit bin and salt bundle, and the 350 litre bin with 14 x 25kg bags.

Are these grit bins lockable?

Yes. The lid can be secured with a padlock. Padlocks are not included.

Which size do I need?

Choose 200 litres for medium-sized car parks and access routes, or 350 litres for large sites. For entrances and walkways, the 170 litre stackable grit bin may be enough.
