Using worXmart workplace products in your workspace

You may have noticed on the Strip Curtains Direct website we have added a wide range of products under the “worXmart workplace products” tab. 

WorXmart is a sister company to Strip Curtains Direct and is aimed at providing employers with the products they need to make their workplace a more accessible and inclusive workplace for all of their employees.

Why workplace products?

One of the main benefits of strip curtains is that they help to increase the comfort of employees through their thermal benefits and so adding more products into the range makes sense. Taking the time to introduce some accessible products for your employees to use will be appreciated by your employees and they will repay this by staying loyal to your company and producing better quality work for you.

Where to start?

So, how do you make your workspace more comfortable for everyone? Start by talking. Gather all of your employees together and chat to them about what is working and what isn’t, and what would make their life better at work? Do they spend too much time sitting? Are there particular tasks that they find strenuous? Are there areas that are hard to reach?

Once you have gathered all of this information, then sift through it to work out what is achievable and what isn’t. Then make a decision about where to start and what to implement first, but keep the conversation going and make it a two-way thing.

Changes you can easily make

Most of the changes you want to make will come from employee suggestions, but there are some products we offer at worXmart which can help you to make your workspace more inclusive and accessible. So if you are thinking of upgrading your existing workspace or planning a new one, keep the following products in mind:

• Binary Electric Height Workbench. A traditional workbench may exclude some people from working comfortably for long periods of time. An adjustable workbench, like our Binary Electric Height Workbench, allows for a more ergonomic experience as you can adjust the height to suit people's needs. • Binary Bench Adjustable Shelf. Working in tandem with the Binary Workbench the adjustable shelf allows the employee to store items in a space which is the most accessible for them.
